Scientists search for new clues to predict health risks in dialysis patients

NCT ID NCT07170761

Summary

This study aims to find better blood markers to predict serious health events in people receiving long-term kidney dialysis. Researchers are measuring various markers related to bone health, blood vessel hardening, and inflammation in 475 stable dialysis patients. The goal is to understand how these markers relate to future risks like heart attacks, strokes, fractures, and death, without testing any new treatments.
