Vein treatment showdown: which procedure works better?

NCT ID NCT05312970

Summary

This study aimed to compare two common treatments for varicose veins in the leg. It looked at Varithena (a foam injection) versus endothermal ablation (a heat-based procedure) to see which better improved patients' symptoms. The trial was terminated early after enrolling 43 adults with symptomatic varicose veins who hadn't improved with compression stockings or lifestyle changes.
