New study pits two Vein-Closing techniques against each other
NCT ID NCT07561320
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two treatments for varicose veins: foam sclerotherapy (injecting a foam to close the vein) and mechanochemical ablation (using a device and medication). Both are done with local anesthesia and allow quick recovery. 50 patients will be randomly assigned to one treatment and followed to see which keeps veins closed longer and improves quality of life more.
