First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether personalized vancomycin dosing can better protect the kidneys of children with sepsis. Vancomycin is an antibiotic that can cause kidney injury if levels get too high. Researchers will use new models that account for each child's kidney function to find the right dose. The trial involves 20 children in intensive care and focuses on whether this approach is feasible and safe.
