Simple Breath-Hold could ease painful gynecological procedure
NCT ID NCT07496905
Summary
This study is testing if a simple breathing technique called the Valsalva maneuver can make an endometrial biopsy less painful. The standard method uses a clamp to hold the cervix steady, which can cause discomfort. Researchers will compare pain, anxiety, and procedure success between women using the breathing technique and those receiving the standard care.
