NCT ID NCT04673669
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested whether a small, handheld device (dynamometer) can accurately measure the strength of a key foot muscle in adults with flatfoot. Researchers compared results from the handheld tool to those from a large, specialized machine in 46 healthy adults. If proven reliable, the handheld tool could make muscle testing easier and more accessible in doctor's offices.
