NCT ID NCT05179343
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested a non-invasive device that stimulates the vagus nerve (a key nerve in the body) to see if it can safely help lower blood pressure in adults whose high blood pressure is not well-controlled by medication. 63 adults took part, and the device was compared to a sham (fake) device. The goal was to see if this approach is safe, acceptable, and effective as an add-on treatment.
