First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests if a gentle, non-invasive nerve stimulation device can reduce stomach and gut symptoms in children aged 10-18 with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS) and related conditions like POTS. The treatment targets the vagus nerve, which connects the brain and gut. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms and stomach function to see if this approach offers relief.
