NCT ID NCT07607470
First seen May 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study aims to develop a new diagnostic test for vaginal infections like bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections. Researchers will collect vaginal swab samples from up to 1000 women with symptoms such as abnormal discharge or itching. The new test's accuracy will be compared to existing FDA-cleared tests, and the study will also see if self-collected samples work as well as those collected by a doctor.
