Summary

This study tested a new surgical device (vacs-minifiks) to treat stress urinary incontinence in women. 36 women who had the procedure were followed for 24 months to see if it stopped urine leakage and improved quality of life. The device is designed to support the urethra, similar to standard sling procedures, but with a different knotting technique.
