First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at how well women with low estrogen (like after menopause) stick to using prescribed vaginal estrogen to prevent repeat urinary tract infections. About 111 women will be randomly assigned to use a cream, tablet, or ring. Researchers will also use a special camera to see changes in the vaginal skin and check the natural bacteria in urine and the vagina before and after treatment.
