New hope for relieving painful side effect of breast cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT01984138

Summary

This study is testing whether a vaginal estrogen ring or a non-hormonal moisturizer cream works better to relieve vaginal dryness in breast cancer survivors taking anti-estrogen medication. It involves 33 postmenopausal women who have this common side effect. Researchers will track symptom relief and whether the treatments help patients continue their cancer therapy.
