NCT ID NCT03885791

Summary

This study tested whether applying cold therapy inside the vagina helps reduce chronic pelvic floor muscle pain. 165 women with this type of pain were randomly assigned to use either a cold therapy device or a room-temperature device at home. Researchers measured changes in pain levels immediately after use and two weeks later to see if the cold treatment provided better relief.
