New approach aims to stop recurrent UTIs without antibiotics
NCT ID NCT05573334
Summary
This study tested whether a non-prescription vaginal care system could help prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in menopausal women. Researchers wanted to see if improving the health of the vaginal environment could reduce UTI frequency over six months. The study involved 8 women and compared those using the system to those receiving routine care only.
