First seen Apr 30, 2026 ยท Last updated Apr 30, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how different amounts of gentle, painless neck movements (called mechanical vagal stimulation) affect heart rate, balance, pain sensitivity, and digestion in 128 healthy adults aged 18-60. The goal was to find the best dose for future treatments of conditions like chronic pain, dizziness, and digestive issues. Participants were monitored before and after stimulation, and provided stool samples for analysis.
