Personalized vaccine trial offers new hope for kids with tough brain tumors
NCT ID NCT02358187
Summary
This study is testing whether a personalized vaccine can help the immune system fight recurrent low-grade brain tumors in children and young adults. It is for patients whose tumors cannot be removed by surgery and have come back after at least two prior treatments. The main goals are to see if the vaccine is safe, if it triggers an immune response, and if it can shrink tumors or stop them from growing.
