NCT ID NCT07473999

First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at how effective vaccines are in people who have received a bone marrow or solid organ transplant. These patients are at high risk for serious infections, but it's not clear how well their weakened immune systems respond to vaccines. Researchers will track 200 transplant recipients over 5 years to see who gets sick and whether vaccination reduces deaths. The goal is to create better vaccination guidelines for this vulnerable group.
