Summary
This study aims to reduce COVID-19 illness and death among people who live or work in prisons. Researchers will test different ways to encourage vaccine uptake, such as community engagement, in Pennsylvania prisons. Over 37,000 incarcerated individuals and staff will take part, and the study will track vaccination rates, infections, hospitalizations, and deaths.
