Summary
This study tested a support program to help busy VA healthcare providers refer more veterans to a specialized suicide prevention telehealth service. The program, called SP 2.0, offers evidence-based treatment to veterans who have had recent suicidal thoughts or behaviors. Researchers worked with four VA sites to identify barriers and provide tailored coaching to improve the referral process.
