Simple postcards aim to combat veteran loneliness epidemic

Summary
This study is testing whether sending caring postcards from fellow Veterans can help reduce loneliness and improve mental health. Researchers are enrolling about 920 Veterans aged 50 and older who have felt isolated and missed medical appointments. Participants will receive up to 10 supportive postcards and complete surveys to see if this simple connection makes a difference.
