Scientists build a 'Library' of eye disease clues to crack the code of blinding inflammation

NCT ID NCT02656381

Summary

This study aimed to build a long-term collection of health information and biological samples from people with uveitis, a serious inflammatory eye disease. Over 10 years, researchers followed 343 participants to gather data and samples like blood and tears. The goal was to discover genetic and biological clues that explain why uveitis develops and how people respond to treatment, to help guide future research.
