Tracking eye Cancer's return: a search for early warning signs

NCT ID NCT04424719

Summary

This study aims to find better ways to monitor patients with high-risk uveal melanoma (a type of eye cancer) for signs that the cancer has spread to the liver. Researchers will follow 700 patients for up to 10 years, collecting regular MRI scans and blood samples to look for biological markers that signal a relapse. The goal is to create a personalized follow-up schedule based on each patient's specific risk, allowing for earlier detection and treatment if the cancer returns.
