Pill vs probiotic: new battle to stop repeat UTIs
NCT ID NCT07186465
Summary
This study tests two different methods to prevent repeat bladder infections in women after menopause. One group takes a nightly antibiotic pill, while the other uses a vaginal probiotic tablet. Researchers will follow 100 women for 6 months to see which approach is better at preventing infections and how each affects the natural bacteria in the urinary system.
