Text nudge trial aims to close flu vaccine gap for older adults
NCT ID NCT06626321
Summary
This study tested whether simple reminders could help more older adults get their annual flu vaccine. Researchers sent text messages to patients before doctor visits and gave doctors feedback on their vaccination rates. The goal was to see if these gentle nudges could increase flu shot uptake, especially among groups at higher risk of skipping the vaccine.
