Million-Patient data dive aims to unlock secrets of safer surgery
NCT ID NCT04670744
Summary
This study aims to improve the safety and quality of care for surgery and intensive care patients. Researchers will analyze the electronic health records of up to one million past patients to find hidden patterns in their data—like combinations of vital signs and lab results—that are linked to better or worse recovery. The goal is to use these patterns to create better guidelines and checklists for future patient care.
