Gene test may personalize heart failure treatment

NCT ID NCT07054489

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a person's genetic makeup can predict how well beta-blocker medication works for heart failure with mildly reduced pumping function. Researchers will enroll 10 adults aged 18-89 and use MRI scans to measure changes in heart size and function. The goal is to learn if genetic scores can help tailor treatment, not to test a new drug or cure.
