First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether showing a video decision aid to older adults in the emergency room helps them document their healthcare wishes. Researchers will compare advance care planning records between those who saw the video and those who did not. The goal is to see if the ER can be a good place to start these important conversations.
