RNA clues in blood may spot brain tumors before MRI

NCT ID NCT06575452

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether chemical marks on RNA in blood or urine can help diagnose gliomas, a type of brain tumor. Researchers will test samples from 228 adults scheduled for surgery to see if these RNA changes can tell the difference between tumor types and healthy tissue. The goal is to create a simple test that could catch tumor changes earlier than current methods like MRI.
