First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple urine test can detect leftover cancer after initial surgery for high-risk bladder cancer. Currently, many patients need a second surgery to check for remaining tumor, but this procedure has risks and costs. The study will enroll 60 adults to see if the urine test accurately identifies who truly needs that second surgery, potentially sparing others from an unnecessary procedure.
