Could a simple urine test spot and track a Hard-to-Diagnose cancer?
NCT ID NCT06805630
Summary
This study is testing a new urine test that looks for specific DNA markers to help doctors better diagnose and monitor upper tract urothelial cancer (UTUC). Researchers will collect urine samples from 50 adults with UTUC before their surgery and during follow-up visits. The goal is to see if this test is more effective than current methods, like urine cell tests and biopsies, at detecting the cancer early and spotting if it returns.
