Could a simple pee test replace pap smears for cervical cancer screening?
NCT ID NCT07468578
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, at-home urine test can be used to screen for cervical cancer. Researchers will recruit 8,620 women to see if women find the urine test acceptable and if it can accurately identify those who need a follow-up exam. The goal is to make screening easier and more accessible, potentially increasing the number of women who get checked.
