Simple pee test could predict surgery success for prostate problems
NCT ID NCT07416981
Summary
This study aims to see if a protein measured in urine can tell doctors how much scarring is in a man's bladder due to an enlarged prostate. Researchers will check urine samples from 50 men before they have prostate surgery and see if the protein level relates to their recovery after the operation. The goal is to find a simple, non-invasive way to predict which patients will benefit most from surgery.
