Could a simple urine test replace a biopsy for bladder cancer?
NCT ID NCT04412070
Summary
This study aimed to see if genetic information from a urine test could match the information from a traditional tumor tissue biopsy. The goal was to develop a less invasive way to guide personalized immunotherapy for patients with high-risk, non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Researchers compared DNA from urine and tumor samples from 20 participants to check for agreement.
