5-Year hope for kids battling rare metabolic disorder
NCT ID NCT06904027
Summary
This study is testing how well glycerol phenylbutyrate controls ammonia levels in Chinese children with rare urea cycle disorders over five years. It will enroll 40 children aged 0-18 who haven't used this medication recently. Researchers will track blood ammonia, growth, brain development, and safety to see if this treatment helps manage this serious lifelong condition.
