First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a plaster containing uracil can reduce symptoms of hand-foot syndrome (HFS) in adults undergoing chemotherapy. HFS causes redness, swelling, and pain on the hands and feet. Researchers will compare the uracil plaster to a standard soothing cream. About 80 participants will use the treatment 2-3 times daily for 3 weeks and track their symptoms.
