First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a plaster containing uracil can relieve hand-foot syndrome (pain, redness, peeling) caused by chemotherapy. About 80 adults with mild symptoms will use either the uracil plaster or a standard soothing cream for 3 weeks. Researchers will check if the plaster leads to faster healing and fewer side effects.
