First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested a tool called UR-GOAL to help older patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) talk better with their doctors. 161 patients, caregivers, and doctors took part. The goal was to see if the tool improves shared decision-making and communication. This was a pilot study, so it focused on testing the approach, not on treating the disease.
