First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether placing a tiny plug in the upper tear duct can further improve dry eye symptoms in people who already have a plug in the lower tear duct. About 36 adults with dry eye will be followed for 6 months. Researchers will measure eye comfort, tear film, and tear height to see if the extra plug helps.
