Researchers seek better test for arm circulation problems
NCT ID NCT05192707
Summary
This study aims to improve the diagnosis of poor blood flow (chronic limb ischemia) in the arms. Researchers will first measure normal oxygen levels in the arms of 60 healthy volunteers using a simple, non-invasive skin sensor. They will then analyze past patient data to determine what oxygen level indicates a serious problem that needs treatment to prevent amputation.
