First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at how shoulder awareness, posture, joint looseness, and performance anxiety affect hand and arm function in string instrument players. Researchers will compare 34 musicians with 34 non-musicians using tests for strength, balance, coordination, and pain. The goal is to understand why musicians often have arm and hand problems and to help prevent them.
