Summary
This early-stage trial tests a single infusion of AFTX-201, a gene therapy designed to help heart muscle cells produce a missing protein in people with dilated cardiomyopathy caused by a BAG3 gene mutation. About 22 adults with moderate heart failure will be enrolled to check safety and whether the treatment improves heart function. The study is not yet recruiting.
