Routine checkups could now include cancer gene tests

NCT ID NCT06926816

Summary

This study is testing whether it's practical and acceptable to offer genetic testing for cancer risk to young women during their regular gynecology appointments, without needing a specialist referral. It aims to see how many patients choose to get tested and how many are found to have a genetic change that increases cancer risk. The goal is to gather information to help make this kind of testing more accessible in the future.
