First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study aims to learn about people's experiences with statin side effects and use that information to create educational materials. The goal is to help people better understand the difference between actual drug effects and nocebo effects (negative effects from expecting side effects). About 30 adults with risk factors for heart disease will participate in surveys and interviews to develop and test the educational content.
