Why do families block Life-Saving organ donations?

NCT ID NCT07345975

Summary

This study aims to understand why families refuse organ donation when their loved ones have died, even though most people support donation. Researchers will interview 100 families at a French hospital to learn their reasons for saying no. The goal is to find ways to reduce refusals so more organs become available for transplant patients waiting for life-saving procedures.
