NCT ID NCT02543788

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at 39 people with multiple sclerosis who have ongoing vision issues. Researchers wanted to understand if the vision loss is caused by damage to the nerve coating (demyelination) or by the nerve cells dying off (degeneration). Participants had eye exams, scans, and tests over a year to track changes. The goal is to find better ways to predict and manage vision problems in MS.
