First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why some cancer patients develop nerve or brain problems after receiving immunotherapy drugs called immune checkpoint inhibitors. Researchers will analyze spinal fluid and blood from 160 adult patients to find immune cells and antibodies that may mistakenly attack the nervous system. The goal is to identify the biological causes of these side effects, which could lead to better prevention or treatment in the future.
