MS nerve damage mystery: inflammation Isn't the only culprit
NCT ID NCT06776224
First seen May 18, 2026 ยท Last updated May 18, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 64 people with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis to understand how nerve damage in the eyes happens even when there is no active inflammation. By tracking changes in the retina over time, researchers hope to uncover the hidden processes that lead to vision loss and disease progression. The goal is to better understand the disease, not to test a new treatment.
