Scientists probe Heart-Brain link to solve stroke fatigue mystery
NCT ID NCT06292377
Summary
This study aims to understand why severe, persistent fatigue is so common after a stroke. Researchers will measure heart function and nervous system activity in 250 recent stroke patients to see if these factors are linked to the development of fatigue. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better treatments in the future, as there are currently no effective cures for this debilitating symptom.
