First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study followed 3 children aged 8–11 with dyscalculia (a math learning disability) for 3 years. Researchers watched how fast they solved simple addition problems to see if their counting skills became automatic over time. The goal was to better understand the root cause of their math difficulties, not to test a treatment.
