First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at why children and adults with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) have trouble with motor skills like clumsiness and slowness. Researchers will test touch and body-position senses in 280 participants aged 9-11 and 18-40 to see if these sensory problems are the root cause. The goal is to better understand DCD so future treatments can improve daily life and school performance.
