NCT ID NCT07201350
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested whether a colorful undersea-themed cover for the ECG table could reduce fear and anxiety in 80 children aged 3-12 getting their first heart test. Half the kids had the standard setup, and half had the themed cover. Researchers measured fear and anxiety using special scales. The goal was to see if a simple, non-medical change could make the experience less scary.
